Welcome to the Campaign's Website

Here's where you find out about me and my family and about my life in the 9th Congressional District, You can read and reflect on my thoughts on the important issues affecting the lives of each and every resident of the 15 counties that make up the district. You will see what has led me to the decision to seek to serve you as your congressman, why I want to be your representative in the nation's capital, and why I believe I will be the best person to represent you and all your fellow citizens, regardless of your race, creed, gender, economic status, or any other label or political philosophy.

It will also be the place to keep tabs on the process of our campaign - where and to whom we'll be speaking around the district, events where we will be, comments on the day-to-day events affecting us that make the headlines, and responses to your questions and concerns.

Please notice that I didn't call this "my" website. Since you are the most important ingredient of the campaign, - in fact you're the only reason there is a campaign, - this is our site, yours and mine. It's the place where, when we can't be face to face, we can still be engaged in the process that in November, 2010 will send the best possible person to Washington to represent you. I am confident that over the months between now and the election you will discover that that person is me.
